Dr. Glavey attended Loyola University of Chicago and Michigan State University, and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Glavey obtained a Masters of Science Degree in Microbiology and Immunology, Magna Cum Laude, while attending the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University. She then trained in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac Michigan. Dr. Glavey was then granted a Residency at Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology. Dr. Glavey is certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

In addition to her Fellowship in the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Glavey is a Fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and is an Associate Clinical Professor at Emory University.

Dr. Glavey is licensed by The Michigan Board of Medicine, The State Board of Medical Examiners of the State of Georgia, and the Florida Board of Medicine.

She is certified by The American Board of Dermatology, and has a lifetime Board Certification from The American Academy of Dermatology, the largest, most influential and most representative dermatology group in the United States.
